So, so. Normally I am a big fan of Sinclair's, but I worried about this book when I first read chapter one in Games of Command. I didn't much like the title; definitely did not like the song lyrics; and didn't much like the finished book. I think what I like about sci fi romances is the intergalactic nature of the stories -- I don't want aliens visiting earth because then I have to get caught up with reality. "Would the heroes friends really believe him?" etc. The aliens visiting earth works great both as comedy and sensual, dramatic story lines. Not as an adventure. My two cents.
