Although this is Heartland Homecoming book two, there is only a very passing reference to book one (they take place in the same small town), so feel free to read these out of order!

This one is about Mark, the wealthy playboy that begins to realize his life is empty--trying to fill his life with endless parties and creature comforts has begun to pale. To find fulfillment, he's gonna have to go back into his deep past for some healing. Abby, on the other hand, has been caught up with the needs of the family business for so long, she has trouble trusting the blossoming relationship that's growing with Mark.
