Eat, Pray, Love

I have discovered a new found love when it comes to memoirs! Gilbert expresses her feelings and emotions so eloquently it is almost as though you are right inside her mind as she travels and experiences different cultures and practices. I only hope I can one day go to Italy to try the pizza she describes in such vivid detail. I literally salivated as I read her description! This is a very empowering novel. I highly recommend it—a must read for females especially. Kiss

Thats the way i felt....

Like she was sitting right next to me, and telling me the story.

I blogged abut this...It has got to be one of my favorite books so far this year.

Got Books?

Cop out

We had a HUGE argument at book club about this one, many of my girlfriends thought she was just whiny and self absorbed!  Myself, I loved the book until the ending where I felt she sold out...I was hoping she'd find true happiness in herself as a result of her introspection and adventures.  Was annoyed she went for the guy...

but I bought it on Terri's recommendation

I also bought a copy in French for my MIL because it's probably the kind of book she'd love
