Thanks, everyone! I was thrilled to be offered a job after being laid off in January due to budget cuts at the small hospital where I worked. I have had one offer with a national transcription service and have two more interviews tomorrow. I will have to do the math since before I was being paid an hourly wage and now will be paid per line but I think I might actually come out ahead - still, not really a promotion, unless you count being "promoted" out of unemployment . Either way, though, it is nice to be looking at a paycheck again before my savings run out.
