Renee Williams met Tag Elliott while working as his mother's social worker.
They went to dinner and discovered they both had a love for art. They were both interested in each other but Renee had reservations about interracial dating. Tag felt together they could take on any comments and concerns thrown their way.
After convincing Renee to give them a chance he was not tolerating anything but total acceptance from anyone regarding their relationship and ultimately their marriage.
