In a world where magic ruled everything, Felicity Seymour couldn't perform even the simplest spell. If she didn't pass her testing, she'd lose her duchy--and any hope of marriage. But one man didn't seem to mind her lack of dowry: a darkly delicious baronet who had managed to scare away the rest of London's Society misses.
Sir Terence Blackwell knew the enchanting woman before him wasn't entirely without magic. Not only could she completely disarm him with her gorgeous lavender eyes and frank candor, but his were-lion senses could smell a dark power on her--the same kind of relic-magic that had killed his brother. Was she using it herself, or was it being used against her?
One needed a husband, and the other needed answers. But only together could they find the strongest magic of all: true love.

My first read by this author and will not be my last. A mix of fantasy and paranormal.
What an interesting and enjoyable story this was. I'm so glad Cady's review hooked me so much that i bought it. It would've been a shame to miss this story. Also, come to think of it, it sure didn't sit long in my tbr. Not sure it even had a chance to collect any dust. lol Wonderfull story and highly recommended.

Hi Sherilyn, It was very good wasn't it. Nice to see you here.
Hi Merri, I loved this story as well. Have you read her Beneath The Thirteen Moons? It sounds super interesting to me as well. I hope they print more copies one day soon.
Hi Deb, Great choice for a book club read. I'm really looking forward to book#2. I don't think it will wait overly long to get read either. I love the covers, very catchy imho.

I LOVED this book. There's
I LOVED this book. There's kinda a story to go with it. This author as far as I know, only has one published work prior to this one. She had contacted my website for a review and I really wanted to read it because of the Merlin connection but I was swamped with books i already had. I had contacted her saying i wish I could do it myself since it sounded so good but I just couldn't do it right then so would see if someone else wanted it.
She e-mailed me back and told me not to ask anyone else to do it. She was so pleased by my excitement over the story and wishing i could fit it in that she told me even if she had to wait several months for a review she would so long as i read it since I so obviously loved the concept.
So I did. And she did wait a few months. I think she sent it about 4 or 5 months before it was released and you know when i finally got to read it? Christmas break when the book was to be released on New Year's Day and the review wouldn't go live until two weeks after the book came out. And she was thrilled, especially since I DID love the book after all that.

Hi Kelley, What an awesome
Hi Kelley, What an awesome story, and i'm really glad it worked out for you to get a copy. Would've been a real shame for you to miss this one, especially since you loved it too.
After reading and "Loving" this book, i checked amazon for other books of hers, and all i could find was "Beneath The Thirteen Moons", and unfortunately it's out-of-print. I'm really hoping since it did so well, that they print more copies, "soon", cause i'd really like to read it.
