Evermore

This is book 5 in the Darkyn series. Jayr is the only female  to serve as seneschal to a Darkyn lord (Byrne). She is secretly in love with Master Byrne.  Byrne has long been a warrior for the Kyn (vampires) and he fears he is losing his ability to control his berserker rage. Byrne plans to step down and hand over control of his Jardin (vampire group/territory) to another Kyn lord leaving Jayr behind.  I liked this book, not my favorite in the series but it moves the series along *** stars.
