Everybody Loves Evie

In this second book of what will soon be the Evie trio, I wasn't a bit disappointed as I sometimes am in a sequel.

Once again caught up in solving a con-artist's crime, this time far more personally, because her mother is the one being flamboozled, Evie is about to pose with her boss, attractive Milo, as her boyfriend.  Or, at least, she thinks she is.  However when Arch, her hot former-lover, swoops in, taking both Evie and Milo by surprise, things become complicated all over again.  Convincing everyone in Evie's hometown that he's Evie's boyfriend as well as a weathy titled baron, Arch paves the way for great laughs... and even more steamy romance.

What was so incredibly fun about this book was the rivalry between Milo and Arch.  Two sexy men in competition is just too irresistable.  I couldn't put the book down until I finished the last page.  Yum!

Aww...

Thank you, Amanda! Smile I'm so thrilled you enjoyed the story. I loved reading your thoughts.

BTW, I was intrigued with the rivalry between Arch and Milo as well. Two men vying for one woman's attention. Why do you think we find that so darn sexy?

I Love Evie!

I loved this one.  Evie just and the Chameleon Chronicles just get better and better.  Fun is exactly the word for this book.

Beth....

You know, I'm not exactly sure what's so intriguing about the concept of two men vying for the same woman.  I guess, imagining oneself in the character's position, it's so very flattering and exhilarating to be that wanted.  Whatever it is, it's definitely fun!

I love the personality you've given Evie.  She's not a flat character.  Forgive the cliche, but you've made her leap off the pages.  And that's truly a gift, Beth.  I admire that ability.

Can't wait to read your third book!

Paisley....

You are soooo right! I loved the excitement of the Chameleon Chronicles, too!  There is just something about these books that drew me like an ant to a picnic (you know, that's probably not a good simile, is it? Undecided).  Anyway, I literally couldn't put them down!  They've certainly been added to my favs. Wink
