Not a review, but some observations from me. Remember because it's an audio I don't review those.
I was fortunate enough to have dinner with Linda Franics Lee when she was in Dallas to sign her book, The Ex-Debutante. I had no idea that the titles were available in audio. In listening to the discussion of how interesting the audio was for The Devil In The Junior League I decided to go home and download this audio if I could. Lucky for me I could!
I was the first to arrive at dinner, and the author the second. I was shocked when she made a beeline to me, and said she remembered me from her signing last year. I hung back then because I had an ARC of that book, and refused to buy one, so didn't remember talking to her, but guess I was wrong.
During the signing and question session the cover of the book came to be discussed. I found it interesting(and hope you do to ) to find out that the person on the cover is the author. She actually has that hat and that purse. Her hat and purse are not Hot Pink...that's photoshop or some such program...but it's her and she even had that purse with her the evening we met.
So I listened and enjoyed this so much more than The Devil in the Junior League, and look forward to hearing what other people think when they read The Ex-Debutante.
