This is an interesting, and grown-up, twist on the story of Pinocchio.
Noccio was created by a genius. He had everything necessary to be a real man, except for one thing. He did not know how to feel emotion. His creator released him into the city, telling him he must learn to feel if he wished to be a real man. Otherwise, he would, at the end of the week be nothing more then a very advanced biological machine. Marina Torez is a young career woman. She has always been content in her life until one day coming home from work she finds Noccio on her doorstep. When she learns his plight, she takes him in, deciding to try and help him as best she can… to help him to feel so he can be a real man. Now begins a sensual awakening for Noccio… and one which will change both of them for good.
This was a relatively interesting story, but did not stand out as anything spectacular for this reviewer. Likely this is just because of the subject matter of the story. However, fans of sci-fi and futuristics will enjoy this story. It is well written and creative, and will make readers wonder “What if?” Just like Pinocchio in the fairy tales, Noccio must learn a few lessons before he can become a real man. He has the curiosity of a child out to explore, and Marina patiently helps him to learn, and experience life. However, his tastes run a little more mature then a child’s would. He is most curious about Marina, more specifically, the differences between the male and female bodies, which leads to some sensual awakenings, and some hot sex.
If looking for a short sexy read, this story will fit the bill.
