Fantastic Fiction

I am relatively new here so this may have been blogged before. Does everyone know about the web site Fantastic Fiction?  It is a great site to look up your favorite authors and their work. What I like is that they also do some of the series that Harlequin puts out. Check it out if you have never been there.

Hi Kaelee ....

I use that site indirectly .... usually when I want more author info I try to find their websites by "googling" their name  ..... often an author doesn't have their own site, so Fantastic Fiction's page for them will come up

I agree it's a great tool

another awesome tool is  fictiondb.com   ... on that site you can bring up the entire list of Harlequin imprints (and other publishers as well) .... see the complete series list of an imprint right from book #1 to present .... they also offer a "new releases" list that gets updated regularly so you can see what's coming out in a few months .... or go back and see the past releases by month and year (example all the books released Dec 2004)

there are fairly complete author backlists ... with descriptions and cover pics ... as well, as reviews made by independant reviewers like Romantic Times ... they even give a tool to help find the book if you wish to purchase it ... this is particularly helpful if the book is no longer in print like many Harlequin books

they've just expanded what is totally "free" to everyone ... and there are some advanced premium treats that you can have if you become a member (like recording your TBR list on the site, adding personal tags to books, creating wishlists for shopping, downloading your list to have offsite, and advanced searches)

I've been a member there since 2004, and I'm there at least once a day .... often six or seven times a day! .... so helpful when you're a bookaholic!  :)

Katherine

turned me on to fictionbd too and I got a membership too. I usually visit there about a few times a day. I also like the fact that they list books which pseudonym the author used. This was extremely helpful trying to find Diana Palmer books.

Both fictiondb and fantastic fiction are very helpful

Thanks for info and link

Thanks for the info on FictionDB. I tried googleing it but couldn't find it but then I realized Katherine left a link. I am very inept on the commputer and this site looks way more complicated to me.  I have bookmarked it and will take another look at it when I am more awake.  Many Thanks for info.
