Copied Blurb:
The apprenticeship is over-- now the real test has begun.
When word that Yelena is a Soulfinder--able to capture and release souls--spreads like wildfire, people grow uneasy. Already Yelena's unusual abilities and past have set her apart. As the Council debates Yelena's fate, she receives a disturbing message: a plot is rising against her homeland, led by a murderous sorcerer she has defeated before....
Honor sets Yelena on a path that will test the limits of her skills, and the hope of reuniting with her beloved spurs her onward. Her journey is fraught with allies, enemies, lovers and would-be assassins, each of questionable loyalty. Yelena will have but one chance to prove herself--and save the land she holds dear.
My Review:
Absolutely fantastic!! All I expected and hoped for and more!! This is the third book in Maria V. Snyder's Study series, and I loved seeing Yelena grow, and learn about her powers. If you haven't read her books yet, you are in for a real treat. And for those of you who have read these books, don't you just love the character Kiki?? I very highly recommend this book and the preceeding two books, Poison Study and Magic Study.
My Rating: 5

I loved Poison Study, and I
I loved Poison Study, and I have Magic Study on my pda. I just need some free time to enjoy it.
Add some SPICE to your life.
Hi Tammy, I loved Poison
Hi Tammy, I loved Poison Study and Magic study, and really look forward to reading Fire Study. I'm not looking forward to saying goodbye to Yelena though, but i'm really glad the series is continuing on.
Kathy D
I so loved this series....
Makes me regret waiting so long to read Poison Study... but at the same time, I was able to read the books altogether and that was a real treat!
I'm definitely looking forward to Opal's story... she's pretty cool too.

Hey Lorie, Kathy D, and Kalyko!
Hey Lorie!
Nice to see you here! Free time?? What's that??
I hope you get a chance to get to Magic Study soon, and then Fire Study as well. Awesome books!!
Hey Kathy D!
I actually read Poison Study last year based on your review. So thank you very much!!
I don't know why I waited so long to read Magic Study. All three books were just fantastic, and I hope you Love Fire Study!! It is hard knowing Yelenas story is over. I am hoping we will catch glimpses of her in future books by Maria V. Snyder. I am curious to see where she will take Opals story, as she seems so much different than Yelena.
Hey Kalyko!
I am not sure why I waited so long to read Magic Study after Poison Study. Because after I read Magic, I wanted to read Fire right away. I am looking forward to Opal's story as well, she has such a different personality than Yelena. I wonder how long we will have to wait??

Tammy

Your very welcome Tammy! I
Your very welcome Tammy! I love it when my love for a book spurs someone else to read it. And when they love it too, that's a really great feeling.., even better when it gets them hooked on a wonderfull series.
Kathy D
I did these back
I did these back to back almost and it was great reading them as they were so fresh in my mind. I'm really looking forward to more and you can bet it won't take me another year to get to it this time.

Hey Kathy D and Deb!
Hey Kathy D!
I love it too when someone reads a book based on my reviews. Now we just have to get you to read Fire Study.
Oh, and btw, I just moved Warprize up to the top of my TBR pile...so I will be reading that one very soon, I am sure. I had bought all three books at once, based on your reviews last year.
Hey Deb!
I was okay to wait a while after reading Poison Study....but after Magic Study, I really wanted to see what happened right away. Very glad I had Fire Study ready to read then. Great books!!

LOL Tammy, I don't
LOL Tammy, I don't think Fire Study will sit here overly long, but i do have a few i need to read/finish first. Unless of course they get bumped back, which happens alot. lol
Yay, I'm excited to hear Warprize is coming up soon. I'll be looking forward to your review. That was brave buying all three books at once. Although I do that sometimes as well.., just a gut feeling that makes me grab them all up, blind, and i rarely regret it...hope you feel the same after reading them. lol

Hey Kathy D!
Hey Kathy D!
Heehee, well, I am certain you will enjoy Fire Study whenever you get to it! I totally understand about books getting bumped up and down the TBR pile.
Well, I bought all three War books at once, as I was afraid by the time I got to them, they may be out of print and/or hard to find. As it was Warprize was a little difficult to get when I ordered. Plus, you raved on about the books so much; I just kinda knew they would be excellent.
And even though I am not "officially" reading Warprize yet, I did sneak in the first few chapters the other day, and I already love it!!

Tammy, Glad to hear you've
Tammy, Glad to hear you've already sampled and loved what you've read so far of Warprize. I'm curious if you had any bad feelings for the H in the beginning?
I'm considering sampling FireStudy next, but i just know that if i do that, the other three books i need to finish will get set aside, again. lol There good books as well, just not pulling me in as tightly as some of the others.
TC,
Kathy D
Hey Kathy D!
Hey Kathy!
I actually haven't met the H too much yet...other than a brief encounter. But I am certain he is about to make a grand appearance soon. I am on pg 56 if that gives you any indication. As I finished a book this morning, I am pretty certain Warprize will become my main read. I also have the new Keri Arthur to read here. And the other Shiloh Walker I wanted to get to. Choices, choices, choices....
I also wanted to let you know, I am sorry I havent been by your blog in a while. It just seems like life has been so hectic, and then my son came down with something similar to strep throat on Sunday, but the doctor says the test came back negative. However, he is still sick today
Anyways, hopefully I will be able to get around the blogs soon!
