Excellent wrap-up to the "Study" trilogy. The action is non-stop with all our favorite characters in pretty much non-stop danger. Yelena finally learns what her gift is. We learn why Valek is immune to magic, the details of the Commander's secret and get hints at Opal's magic and personality, all while chasing/fighting/discovering more bad guys. Opal, according to the discussion here last week, is the focus of the next book set in Ixia & Sitia. I'm looking forward to seeing more of certain secondary characters. Highly recommended. that Maria was allowed to put up? She gave us the link in her discussion forum from a couple of weeks ago. It's GREAT and if you haven't seen it, you should look before you read FIRE STUDY.
I made the mistake, though, of reading the excerpt of Opal's story while I was at Maria's site and now I know I'll have to keep busy in order to not go crazy waiting . . .
