I enjoyed Ms Higgins current Rita nominee CATCH OF THE DAY which is her second HQ book and FOOLS RUSH IN is her first. Interesting book. Must be it's chicklit and very humorous.
The heroine, Millie Barnes, wants to live on Cape Cod, she's a native and only wants to live there and be the local doctor. She left at age 18 and now she's back with that medical degree. Of course she has made a local boy be the man of her dreams, Joe Carpenter, and thinks she can catch her man now but is he really?
She's also a good friend with her ex-BIL, Nick, he's the local cop. She can't understand why she has those special feelings for him when she shouldn't. Does he return them?
This is her coming to terms with her *adult* life. Entertaining
