Amanda Nelson is an exotic dancer who has worked her way out of poverty, bought a house, and financed her education. She has worked in the same place for years and has mentored many of the younger girls.
Rick Calloway is an undercover investigator working as a bartender in the club Amanda works in.
Amanda and Rick grew up in the same small town. She recognizes him immediately as the older brother of the creep who ruined her life when she was still a teen.
Rick is trying to find out why young dancers are disappearing. He asks Amanda to teach his "girlfriend" to dance and help her get a position at the club.
The characters are strong and well developed. The action tight.
