The Fortune Hunter

thefortunehunterThe Fortune Hunter is the book I should have reviewed before I reviewed Show and Tell.

Faith Castle doesn't have much confidence in her looks.  She wants nothing more than to have children of her own, but for now she settles on loving the children in her kindergarten class.

Connor Kingston grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, and he not only someday wants children, but he wants to be able to leave them a legacy.  Something his own family was unable to provide him.

Connor does engineer things so that he can meet and somewhat woe Faith, but he's not a big believer in "love" he believes that they should marry, and they'll both get what they want most.  She a large family of children, and him a great spot in her father's company, and eventually he'll move to running it and be able to leave a legacy for his children.

Is this really a marriage of convience, or is it much more?  What will it take for Connor and Faith to realize that maybe there is more to their marriage?

This was the second book I had read by this author, and I enjoyed it so much more than the first.  Since I've already read the sequel(and yes I did read in order even though I didn't blog them in order) I know I'll read more.  I'm not sure I'm a fan of her short stories, but her long ones suit my reading to a T!
