Elise Penny wanted a glamorous life, filled with beauty pageants, fancy houses, fast cars, and city lights. So what did she do? She fell in love with Sam, a handsome farmer, and that was, well, that. Or was it? When their daughter secretly enters her in the Mrs. Proverbs 31 Pageant, Ellie soon discovers that a person should be careful what she wishes for!
This one isn't available from eHarlequin any longer, but I did see it's out in a Kindle edition. Truly delightful, and I enjoyed watching Elise grow from the person she'd allowed herself to become into the woman everyone thought she already was. Can't wait for the next one, Picket Fence Promises, which I see is available now, or soon!
