As-a-child-Christmas-and-Easter-meant-my-sister-and
I-would-be-taken-by-our-mother-to-get-new-outfits.
We-got-new-dress-shoes-to-be-worn-to-church,new-purses,
dresses,and-hats.We-also-got-our-hair-done.Now-is-no
different.Although-our-mother-is-gone,I-still-carry-on-the
traditions.We-lived-across-the-street-from-our-church.
Our-church-had-sunrise-service-at-5am-on-Easter-as
well-as-a-regular-service.The-church-I-attend-now-is-having
just-a-regular-service.I-haven't-gotten-a-dress-yet-or-gone
to-get-my-hair-done.I've-just-remedied-part-of-the-plan.
I-got-an-appointment-to-get-my-hair-done-Thursday.That-is
a-miracle-at-short-notice-before-a-holiday.I'll-have-a-pedicure
this-afternoon.I'll-run-to-a-cheap-store-and-grab-a-dress-that
will-suit-for-now.I-can-always-take-my-time-and-sew-something
later-to-really-usher-in-spring-as-I-view-it.LOL!
