This was a great story for all of us who are stuck halfway between tradition, and pleasing our parents, and becoming the modern woman we are bound to be.
Vina tries desperately to please her parents, and become all she can be in their eyes, but at the same time wants nothing more than to be her own person. This story made me laugh out loud with her acute observations of the world around her as well as herself. And her epiphany had me in tears.
