Book 2 in the In Death series, has Eve and Roarke dealing with their relationship – will Eve be willing to open up to Roarke and is he willing to deal with her issues? At the same time, Eve has some psycho slitting women’s throats. Even worse, the first woman is a good friend of the Commanders putting lots of personal feelings on the line. Another excellent installment, reminds me how much I love the In Deaths. Only strange thing is the reader, this is the only ID read by this one, the rest are read by Susan Erikson. Strange. Luckily, it is only the 2nd book in the series and it didn’t bother me too much as I had some space between book 1 & this one.

I am getting ready to embark on this series. I went ahead and purchased the first three books. After hearing so many wonderful things about them I have no doubt that I will be hooked.

Oops, you are right, the rest are read by Susan Erikson, it is only this one that is by Christine. I am not sure why it is by someone else, it is an older version - cassette tapes, but then so was Naked in Death and it is by SE. The rest of the books that they have are by SE too, strange.
I hope you enjoy the ID series, I love it. I had read all of the books in print, but thought that I would enjoy revisiting them in audio.
