Just reading the title of this book might give one the impression that this is about a boss and his/her assistant or another employee. Good thing you would be wrong. I enjoyed this book very much. It is about Kristian Koumantaros, a greek tycoon who was in a helicopter accident and barely escaped death. He has been "hiding" away in his home high in the mounains of the Peloponnese for over a year attempting to recover from his injuries. The home can only be accessed via helicopter or donkey/donkey cart. Enter Elizabeth Hatchet, owner/operator/nurse of First Class Rehab. Kristian had sent all the other nurses packing in a very short time. There were no other nurse that Elizabeth could send to come to care for the invalid. Elizabeth was sure to lose her business if she couldn't convince the tycoon that he needed her services in order to get him "back on his feet", both figuratively and literally. Elizabeth is the first to stand up to the tycoon and not run off at the harsh words and temper that he lets fly. Read the story and find out how these 2 characters evolve and what the real stories of their lives are. What brought them to this place together. Will Elizabeth be able to convince Kristian that letting her stay will help him further his rehabilitation? That he needs to get on with his life and not let his tragedy make him live like a hermit. I hope you enjoy this brief summary and that it makes you want to read the book.
Happy Reading!
