Heart of Fire was all about passion and finding the way to bring healing to both the heroine and her rogue. She pretends to be someone else to investigate her sister's untimely death, and ends of falling in love with the man who she thought was responsible, but isn't. I tagged the killer straight off but wasn't absolutely postive until the last two chapters that I was right. This is the second in a series, Heart trilogy. Now I need to read the first because I really liked the characters. Although I think Kat could get another book out of one character that she doesn't have pinpointed as the third heroine. Collie's friend who is the shy little mouse does a turn around when she meets the half brother of the hero, Gray. Derek seems to definitely have the potential to be a strong hero. Don't cha just love that name, Gray. You just know that he is gonna be hard as a rock until the heroine climbs into his skin. and she does.
