I found myself pulling for Olivia and James every step of the way, understanding the obstacles that kept them apart and cheering when they managed to overcome them.
Heart of My Heart is such a meaty, moving story – a blend of the best of romance, saga and women’s fiction! Stella MacLean does a masterful job moving from past to present and back again to bring this story alive. Her transitions were so smooth that I was never once confused but often intrigued to find out more about the background of a certain event or character. All the characters were very well drawn and believably motivated. I especially loved the heroine, Olivia, who had to make difficult choices and live with the consequences while still never completely letting go of her dreams.
If you’re looking for a love story that truly lasts a lifetime, I highly recommend this one!
