Is there life after football?
Bobby Tom Denton, is forced to retire after a knee injury. He is drifting through friends, houses and life since surgery and recovery acting like everything is fine. He has so much money he doesn't need to work but he hasn't figured out what to do with himself. Bobby Tom signed on to do a movie but doesn't show up at the appointed time to start filming. After repeated attempts to get him to his home town in Texas where the movie is being shot, Windmill Studio sends Gracie Snow to escort him to Telarosa.
Gracie Snow has no idea what she is in for when her boss sends her to escort former football star, Bobby Tom Denton, to the film location. Gracie has been having some bad times lately so she is determined to carry out this mission no matter what it takes. Gracie soon catches on to Bobby Tom's devious ways while trying to fulfill her duty as escort. Compare this to a house cat trying to get a grizzly bear to do something it doesn't want to do!
Bobby Tom soon learns that Gracie is one determined lady that is not at all like most of the hangers on in his life. She refuses to let him shower her with money or gifts like most of the people around him. Gracie soon realizes that Bobby Tom is like a lost little boy that can't find his way. His whole life is identified with football now he just isn't sure who Bobby Tom Denton is. This book is a journey of discovery, growth and falling in love. Along the way there is humor, tears and joy. Football and hunks what more could a romance reader want?
