Her Christmas Potector by Terri Reed, Dec 2007, 239 pgs Love Inspired Suspense
• Some suspense for a change of pace in my Christmas reads. •Faith is on the run from her abusive ex-husband. She ends up in a small town in Oregon needing to hid but also needing a job. In a cafe she overhears a rancher saying he needs someone to be with his mother who is recovering from a heart attack. When the man leaves she goes after him and talks him into giving her the job.
•Luke is home from the army helping his mother with the ranch after his father passed away. Faith seems just right for a companion for his mother. He can tell something or someone has frightened her and he vows to protect her, but he needs to know from what.
Faith falls for Luke. And likes his mother instantly. But now she’s worried that trouble will follow her to their peaceful ranch, and put her new ‘family’ in danger. Luke is torn between going back to his military career or taking over his father’s ranch. Luke is a great hero but I’m not convinced that he is a captain in the army.
<i>I'm trying Katherine T's suggestion of truning off rich-text and formatting the way I'm used to.</i> However, when I went in to edit because the italics didn't show up, it reverted to no paragraphs. So, let me fiddle with it again.
Still no italics
I think I'm too anal for this type of formatting. I'm too used to WYSIWYG. There's no emotocon for FRUSTRATED!

in "disabled rich-tect" mode ....
Hi Chrissie .... in the disabled rich-text mode, you have to type in the tags for the line and paragraph breaks, otherwise you won't get your blank line ........
........some of us are also having problems getting a paragraph break in our regular comments ..... if you are having that problem, bear with it, you are not the only one
............... wish the typeface in these comment sections were larger ... it's hard to see what I'm typing! LOL

me too
I had a lot of problems with formatting last night. It got better late in the evening. For me the straight code is so much easier than the "easy" way! I felt so helpless over what was supposedly easy, lol! Still having a few problems but with formatting (everything turning bold) but at least we are used to blogging from last year.
ChrissieSue, I sent you a buddy request. To accept you have to click on pending requests and accept or deny. I don't know if you can see my favorites from my profile but I marked as favorites a blog on Cinderella. If not I'll have to send you a link.
