It has taken me a while to review this book because I was trying to be positive. The last few books I have purchased have been clunkers and I read Sam Hunter's comment about not posting negative reviews, but if I don't review a few of these books I can't help the team.
Major Derek Knight is supposed to be a msater of the Eastern arts of pleasure but the one complete love scene in the book was rather boring. It was thrown in there near the end as a second thought.
Lily Balfour was not a sympathetic character and was too weak when she let her mother walk all over her for 380 pages.
I think the history (1818) was there but the plot was rather flat.
