Gina Wilkins hit a homerun with her introduction into the new NASCAR Secrets and Legends series. While introducing several aspects which will play out through out this series, she pens a tale of true love, the value of honesty and the price one pays when a long kept secret comes to light.
What would you do if you opened an email and a secret from your past is revealed? What if no one is supposed to know? How could anyone find out? These were all running through Kent Grosso’s mind after seeing the biggest mistake of his past right there on the screen in front of him. Can this NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion continue to keep the secret or must he come clean with the details with not only the public, but his family and girlfriend?
When Tanya realizes Kent has lied to hear about his past, can she get over her feelings of betrayal and help him to catch a blackmailer? Can she trust the love she has for him to overcome at all cost? Can she play the part of devoted girlfriend and still give herself the distance she needs to think things through?
I really enjoyed Kent and Tanya, the fact that they had been dating for two years put a original spin on the story, while showing growth in their relationships with each other and their respective family members. I look forward to more from this series and can’t wait to say what the other authors have in store.

This one wasn't for me
I didn't like this one quite as well as I've liked some of her other books.

I see where you're coming from
I see where you're coming from, as I did enjoy her first two NASCAR books alot. I did think she did a good job setting up this series and look forward to more.....

Exactly...
It was a set-up book. I would have been happier with less set-up. As a writer, one of the biggest rules is show don't tell.....I think there was too much telling. Mind you this is just my opinion.
