Made me want to cry at times, out of a sense of loss. They lost their relationship seven years ago when he believed some lies his brother said out of desperation. Now his brother dies of cancer leaving the heroine pregnant. The hero can't get past the idea that his woman is pregnant with his brother's child. He accepts it though. Then she reveals that the brother was gay, the pregnancy was invitro fertilization with the aim to save his life. There is intense passion between the couple, even though she's seven to eight months pregnant, he's more attracted to her than any other woman. It's intense.
Rating: 4/5 stars, I absolutely LOATHE books that make me cry. The fact that I loved this book tells you a lot about how well done it was, how well written.

Oh wow ......
I have this one in my TBR ..... I just love Carol Marinelli ... she writes very emotional love stories .... so if you don't like the "cry" factor you may want to save her books for times you can handle that ... though do read them as it would be a real shame for you to miss her great stories ...... she's an autobuy author for me ... I think I have her complete NA backlist including the books she writes for Harlequim Medical ......those are equally intense and emotional
nice review! thanks!

Yeah... I am not a "cry"
Yeah... I am not a "cry" kind of reader, don't enjoy that. But yeah, sometimes I'm just in a MOOD for a type of read and really need a certain kind of read. Usually those cravings are for one of these types of reads: a humour one, an innocent virgin heroine with one love (though she has to get fidelity, not hypocrisy from her hero), or a fidelity read.
Sometimes I get into a mode where I've just read too many books where the hero is sleeping around like crazy and the heroine is such a victim...
Anyway! I love having LOTS of books to choose from, and I always get to my other books (that I'm not in the mood for) eventually...
ETA: I have these two Carol Marinelli books in my TBR pile, if you think I should slap them on top of my TBR pile and read them RIGHT NOW, let me know.
Bought by the Billionaire Prince
Contracted: A Wife for the Bedroom
to read next .....
Bought by the Billionaire Prince ... this one is the third in the 12 book Royal House of Niroli series ... so if you have all 12 books, you may want to read them in order .... in fact, I think that's what I'm going to do next, is read this series ... huh, that's 12 books in a row all lined up to read ... gotta love that!
Contracted: A Wife for the Bedroom ... I have this one in my TBR ... it received excellent reviews ... it's a marriage of convenience story with the hero and heroine both coming from very bad relationships ... I think one of the reviews I read was that this was a fun and emotional read
Edited to add -- If you'd like the list of which books make up the Royal House of Niroli let me know and I will post it

I'm not too big a fan of
I'm not too big a fan of "royalty" books. I read Robyn Donald's "The Prince's Forbidden Virgin" and I was disappointed that the hero/heroine had both been raised with royal duty and royal values... and then at the end they happily jumped away from duty. I don't like the idea that the 12 books all show how the heirs are shown to be such good royal people capable of unique leadership, then they GET OUT OF their duty.
They aren't bad books alone, but when I look at it as a series it confuses me.
Not convinced about what should be at the top of my TBR pile atm. :p I have a Penny Jordan book calling to me. And a oldie by Leigh Michaels.
Oooh goodie, I picked this one up from a second hand bookshop
recently so will move it up my TBR pile for when I'm in the mood for a good cry
Carol Marinelli's Niroli book was fantastic and so was Expecting his Love Child.
*waves to Katherine* She's recently become an autobuy for me too. Now I really need to find "Contracted: A Wife for the Bedroom" *pout* I seem to have missed it

Enjoy it Sue, and I hope you
