• Julie spent several summers on Cannon Beach when she was a teen. She met Will and he was her first love, her first kiss when she was fifteen. Then her parents divorced and she never went back to Cannon Beach. Now she’s back with her twins to start over. She rents an apartment in an old Victorian house on the beach and Will still lives three doors down. They’ve both experienced deep loss. Julie is ready for a new beginning but Will is not.
This story has a lot of the themes I like. The location, old loves reunited, a tortured hero, cute kids, great dog, well told.
This story is obviously the second in a series as there are three women, Sage, who is about to get married, Julia in this story, and the third Anna is single. It's second in The Women of Brambleberry House series. The Daddy Makeover comes before this one, I just ordered it. The third is not out yet.
