A Holiday To Remember by Jillian Hart (Love Inspired #424)

Looking for a perfect sugar sweet Christmas holiday romance? Read this book!

The story: Until a few months ago Debra Cunningham Watson didn't know she had a half brother. Her daughter is excited and wants to see her new uncle and his family, but Debra isn't so sure. She is too afraid for her and her daughter to get hurt. But her visit to Chestnut Grove shows her that dreams can come true. She falls in love with her new family members, the town, a little bookstore and Jonah Fraser. The carpenter (and former marine) returns her feelings, but doesn't believe he deserves to be happy.

I've come across Jillian Hart in a Christmas anthology (I liked her story), but this was my first Love Inspired by her. If all her books are like this, than I'm one happy reader, as I have more of her books on my tbr. A Holiday To Remember offers wonderful characters and a charming small town Christmas atmosphere. Jonah is one of the nicest romance heroes ever. Debra's faith issues and her daughter's trust in prayers are strong, but never intruding (perfect for readers unfamiliar with inspirational fiction and uncomfortable with too many prayers). And if you loved the "A Tiny Blessing Tale"-series as much as I did than you will be glad to know that this a very satisfying book to end the series with.

Series: A Tiny Blessing Tale

Rating: very good

McKaslin Clan series

Hi Kate,

I have some of her McKaslin Clan books in my TBR. Do I need to read them in order, should I wait and start with the first book?

Thanks!

I'm trying to read them

in order, however, I missed the very first and have yet to find it at a UBS.  I think you'll have no trouble reading them out of order, in fact, I read a couple out of order myself, when I wasn't paying attention to which book came first....

Thanks Kate! I might have no other choice, as I don't have a UBS with English books. Good to know that it won't matter. :-)

Just started
