What a great addition to the series.
The police woman, Collena Drake, who is sorting out the illegal adoptions at the Brighton Birthing Center has finally found her own baby. He's been adopted by a single, wealthy man, Dylan Greer.
She goes to the Greer ranch hoping just to see the little boy, 16 month old Adam. Her son who had been stolen at birth.
Dylan takes Collena at her word but doesn't understand what's going to happen then an escaped convict,Rodney Harmon, the man who had taken her baby and left her for dead after beating her is trying to kill Collena and who's ever in the way. Then there's Adam's birth-grandfather Curtis Reese, father of the man Collena was pregnant by. He's wealthy and thinks he's going to get custody of Adam. The nanny and her daughter as well as the nanny's husband, the Sayers, who are long time employees of the Greer family are acting so weird!
Dylan and Collena become partners in this strange few days. A real mystery to sort through and Ms Fossen has done great with it! This is a March release Hi#1050
I enjoyed this mini-series
and this was a good final book. Hadn't read Delores Fossen before, but will definitely get another of her books.
