The House on Briar Hill is a history of a family. What caused them to be what they are. It contains a lot of flashbacks.
It is very well written and extremely emotional. It is not a "quick" read. I usually read a book in one setting in 1-3.5 hours. I have been reading this one off and on for the past 30 hours. Brian and Hayden needed a lot of time to come full-circle!
