• I loved this book. Just found out this is book three in Otherworldly Men. I’ll have to get the other two now.

• Eriff lives an ideal childhood on Sandreem. Until he’s captured by a visiting Coalition ship captain. .

• Twenty years later Earth is celebrating the fact that an alien invasion has been stopped. (This is where I need to read the first books as the invasion is not detailed in this story and which involves characters in this story).

• Evie lives the divorced-suburban-mother-of-two life in Sacramento. When her sister, a senator, calls and asks if she can give shelter to a wounded extraterrestrial she relents because she knows he won’t last ten days in her hectic household.

•REEF-01A is a Robotically Engineered Enemy Fighter. Human-looking to the casual observer, but with enough bio-computer enhancements to earn him the official classification of “deadly weapon.” He is also the the injured extraterrestrial. His internal computer has been removed and he is learning to adjust to being human again. Without the computer to neutralize his emotions he is bewildered by his feelings. Some of his super powers still exist. He agrees to be Evie’s bodyguard as he lives with her family while he recuperates.

I love the “Star Wars meets the Brady Bunch” premise of this story. Where Science Fiction blends with everyday suburban life. The story is humorous, romantic and exciting as Reef protects Evie from the bad guys and Evie helps Reef to remember and come to terms with his stolen life as Eriff.

nice blog

Nice blog, ChrissieSue!  I think I might have this or at least 2 out the series.  Sounds fun.  The Brady Bunch meets Star Wars sounds fun.

I want more

I want more in this series. I think the daughter needs her own story a few years up the road. I really enjoyed this whole series and each book just got better for me. I liked the way she took this bad guy and made him into a hero.

I've enjoyed the first two

I've enjoyed the first two stories to this series, but have fallin behind a tad. I can't wait to read the Reefs story...i had a hunch he was going to get his...and there was just something about him...

I have this book waiting in my tbr...

Nice catchy review Chrissie, Makes me want to drop everything and read it right away.
