I know most people think that I'm too young to be able to read alot of books in a month. I can. I love to read. I wish that, that its was the only thing I ever had to do. But sadly its not. this is my last year in Junior High and so far I have straight A's in all of my classes. I have a 3.9 GPA. I want to keep that up. I don't have alot of friends. Most of the people that I hang around with is people who like alot of the samethings I do. I hope to be a Frshman next year. I'm sort of scard. I want to be albe to meet new people and make new friends, but sadly I haven't been able to. I'm really shy actually. Anyways that's me.
"Reading is my passion."

I don't think you're too young Mary Kay
I remember being just like you (except I don't remember being THAT
shy, because I was always willing to talk about books) and shy as you
are, there's always someone shyer than you
WTG on the straight As and your point average, funnily enough the reading should help rather than hinder that
As to making new friends, the true key is being interested in other
people, what they like, why they like it and always being able to
discuss things, especially - in your case - books.
And you won't ever hear me telling you it's impossible to read that fast, because I know better
It'll come in handy for both studying and working because you can read that
much more in the same time, and I always used "ordinary" reading as a
way of letting my brain assimilate the studying
though it tends to annoy less readaholic classmates when you're reading a Harlequin
just before an exam and it doesn't adversely affect your results
I'm usually around if you need to chat

Not too young
You remind me of myself when I was your age.I always had my nose in a book and could get through quite a bit. Books have always been one of my passions. Things weren't always easy for me as far as friends at school, fitting in with the popular etc..books were my escape. I was always a shy person and still can be too. You do great with your grades that is always a plus maybe someday you can put your passion for reading into something great as a adult! I too am always here if you need to chat with someone who knows what its like to not be part of the popular crowd.
What you see is what you get out of me you dont like it I dont like you.
Not Too Young
I was definitely like you when I was young. I have always loved to read, and was always reading a lot. I've always been more mature for my age, as well. I remember reading Shakespeare in elementary school and trying to rope kids into performing Romeo and Juliet. Needless to say, we didn't have many rehearsals before that fizzed out, but I still remember the lines of the sonnet that were Romeo's first meeting with Juliet. I'm also a shy one. Keep up with the reading!!! I look forward to seeing your tally.
Your post has been haunting me all weekend.
I could just so relate to it, being shy myself. But what was really ironic was my husband and I were just having a discussion about how I wouldn't do my teen years over again. He couldn't believe there was nothing I would change. I tried to explain to him that I wasn't the problem in school. To change my friends--to be popular--I would have had to change me. And there was nothing wrong with me. Of course, I didn't view it that way at the time.
Anyhow, I don't want to be preachy. I just wanted you to know, you're not alone. Read to your heart's content because reading never hurt anyone. It can only make you smarter! I am also here if you ever need a friend.
