Last year I read 130 books for the challenge, which is the most I've rea in a year in a long time. So of course I had to up the ante this year. My personal goal for this year is to read 150 books. In order to meet that, I had to read 50 books by the end of April. We still have a week to go and I've read 52! Go me! If I stick to my current rate, I'll make my 150 for the year!

I'm not sure I should really go for the four figures this year
Will I still have a DH left at the end of the year if I do?
However my current average is 2.63 a day and if I were to break the four-digit barrier it needs to be 2.732, which means I need to read sixty-two books between now and May 12th to be on schedule, the extra .1 a day shouldn't be that difficult to maintain once I have that done
Can I do it?

I read
I read (I think) 160 last year, when I was pushing towards 200...so my goal this year is at least 200...so far I am at 53. If I keep going at this rate, I will prob make my goal.

I havve a feeling my numbers are going to be down this year, but I am doing a lot better on the reading from my TBR challenge, I am sticking to 20% of my reads have to be from the old TBR and I am reading more than I am buying right now, so although I am not reading as much, at least I am reading well.

My goal was to read more than last years total of 300 and so far I'm doing that. I really read more than 300 last year but I didn't count all the kids books and I started at the end of February last year.
Keep up your pace Kelley. We need to read a lot of books to make our goal. I have noticed some haven't posted in quite a while so the rest of us will just have to read more. Such a hardship I know. I sure don't mind giving up housework to read more.

Unfortunately, I'm way down on my reading this year. Just so dog gone busy. I'm really hoping the warmer months improve that for me, cause my morning ritual will be to sit outside on my deck every morning(when nice and sunny of course), except when i'm working, and read and drink my coffee. Can't wait!

I was surprised at how much
I was surprised at how much I've read so far this year. I've been on a roll with audio books and i think that's the secret to how I have finished so many already. LOL And I've read a lot more of the shorter categories this year than in the past and that makes a difference too since some of those are only 180 pages or so.
