Innocent Wife, baby of Shame

I absolutely adored this book by
Milburne.  I own and have read other books by her, and I must say that
this one is by far the best. Her portrayal of Keira was simply amazing. I
admired her character throughout the whole book.  I am a harsh judge when
it comes to heroines, but she passed my radar with flying colors.  Mainly,
it was because of her willingness to own up to her mistake(s).  The hero,
Patrizio, was the kind of alpha-hero I like to read about.  He is the kind
of hero I always hope to read about in a Presents. His character was a perfect
combination of everything sexy!  The plot
itself was totally something different from the usual Presents I read these
days.  I loved the twist in the end.  Although, what really got me was the intense
emotional rollercoaster ride I received!  I experienced a whole fleet of emotions while
reading, which is something I enjoy about Presents.    I really hope to read more Presents like
this in the future!

[Somebody Sedate me]

I loved this book but.....

I loved this book for the same reasons that you mentioned.  However, I didn't like the fact that Patrizio had multiple lovers in the time they were apart -- 2 months.  While I could understand his hurt and thinking that she betrayed him, decided to have a lover of his own -- but multiple in such a short period of time?  It also seems to imply that the current "one" would be very upset to find out that he was with his wife again. This would have been more plausible if they had been apart for a 2 years instead of 2 months.  Personally I don't care for adultery in books, but at least can understand it when the couple is separated for a long time.  In this book there just was not enough time to warrant Patrizio's string of lovers.
