I admit it. I couldn't help myself. That cover does not scream "Innocent Wife". And well, Baby of Shame was right up my alley. For that classic "he is SOOOOOO gonna regret THAT!" Alpha lover, this book is totally your pie ala mode. Don't like guys who can't forgive and really dole out the ill-advised vengence...well, you'll want to find another Milburne to enjoy. Me, I smiled and giggled my way on to the end.

I found this book
I found this book depressing. The attitude/actions the hero took regarding cheating.... not a hero I believe was in love. The heroine couldn't stop crying and hating herself.

Back in her Husband's Bed
Melanie Milburne
Harlequin Presents
Aww! Absolutely lovely. Divorced couple gets back together because
they had sex and got pregnant.
Intense passion and a love that never died despite five years
apart. Good independent heroine with
issues. Alpha male who's loving and
has his true love.
Dee I have to disagree with you!
You know that I love alpha males. However, in this case, they were only separated for a couple of months and in that time he had multiple lovers. I could understand his sleeping with someone since both he and she thought that she was unfaithful. However, multiple lovers so quickly -- a little too much.
I like Melanie's books and do plan to read others by her!
Dee, just the title squicked
Dee, just the title squicked me out. And you know how I feel about Alphas. So, I guess there is no fear that I will read this book.

March's Member of the Month!
Oh, I didn't say he was a good guy...
Just that if you love the kind of book where you know he'll be groveling for years, this is your piece de resistance. I totally wanted to slap him with a bowling ball at times. And her too, actually. But it was so deliciously fun reading, going, "Oh no he di-ent!"
Every time he did, I got a heck of a laugh. My personal guilty pleasure. :)
Dee (who is going to see if there's any others you'll disagree with. :) )

I hate to be negative, but
I hate to be negative, but this book was just not for me and makes me want to run miles away. This is one of those books for me that I would need to get out of my sight so I don't accidentally read it again in the future and go through the pain this book brought up again! *wants to throw something at hero for being a hypocritical sex rat, wants to shove the heroine into a pillow to keep her from crying and hating herself* If I owned it, I'd throw it out or give away. If I had the ebook, I'd delete it or make the title "DO NOT REREAD". In this case I got it from the library, lol.
