Picture it, a week of warm weather, the first baseball tournament of the season. DS's game is at noon. We have to be at the field at 11. Isn't it going to be fun????
After a week of hecktick schedules, we can all chill out together at a baseball game. We can drink soda, share some nachos or popcorn, and see who can cheer the loudest. Are you in the mood yet? Are you feeling baseball fever comin' on?
Well, now let's add to the scenario....SNOW and FREEZING RAIN! Yep, you heard me right! From shorts to long johns, hats, scarves, and gloves in less than 12 hours!
Those poor boys REALLY played two games in that weather!!!! I sat in the car reading Romance novels! I'm no dummy! I have to teach school! I don't have time for pneumonia from watching baseball in 30 degree weather!
Our team had the only crowd. I can't imagine what kind of parents those other teams must have! Hiding in their cars
, or even at home
, while their beloved sons competed in the great sport of baseball!!!
What is this world coming to?!?!
