As soon as I actually blog the last couple books I've read, I will have read 50/50 for the first time! WOO HOO!! Last year I joined late and was already in the hole, so to speak, and never really dug out of it. But this year I'm hoping to actually read 50% Harlequin imprints and today I have finally equaled out my books for my first time ever in the challenge!! YAY ME!!!

Good for you! I have only read 3 books and none are Harl/Sil but I am not worried. I believe that I read at least 70% Harl/Sil. I don't see that changing too much so I should be okay. :)

It was my goal for this year. Actually, it was my goal for last year but I reached a point where I knew I'd never make it... not with the review books I had! But at least I'm on target this year so far!!!! You did a great job last year with keeping that 50/50!

LOL.. right now I'm ahead
Since I just started reading for the year... I'm up 4 Harlequins to none. I'm trying to get friends to do the reading challenge but they don't think they read enough Harlequins but it truly is amazing how diverse their publishing is. I know I read a lot of HQN and Mira which fall in the Harlequin family.

50/50
I tried really hard last year to come out 50/50. I think I was a little off. So far this year I'm balanced, but it's still early. (Well, balanced as far as my reading choices go, but my mental balance...that's another question for another day!)

Most of my reading comes from Harlequin lines so I don't worry about the split. Last year I read 83 Harlequin and 44 other.

But I have so many review books and we rarely get Harlequins for review. And review books are a priority as they help feed my book habit!!
