Jilt Trip by Heather MacAllister (HT 543)

Nikki Morrison's ex-husband and boss, Carter Belden, is getting married to his competitor's daughter Dee Ann - only Nikki has just realized that their divorce isn't legal!  To stop Carter from becoming a bigamist, she and some guys from work drug Carter's champagne and smuggle him onto their boat - oh, and this will also give them time to do some damage control against the suddendly imminent hostile takeover seemingly being led by Dee Ann's father.

Carter isn't convinced, but all of a sudden he's rediscovering the reasons he married Nikki, only the feelings are even more intense this time around.  Could they still be in love?  Can they make the relationship work and save the company?

This is a fun and fast paced book with a sequel, Bedded Bliss, which tells Dee Ann's story.  Nikki and Carter are both good people, and although the reasons Nikki got sent to Mexico to file for divorce aren't clear, it is clear that they belong together now and have learned from their past mistakes.  Plus it's exciting to read about the rush to buy back stock shares and the boardroom showdown. This book feels a bit like the movie Sneakers to me, and I like it.

ETA: Also want to give the author props for giving surprising depth to the society girl Dee Ann and for not using some kind of cop out so that Carter wouldn't have actually slept with Dee Ann while they were engaged.  Very refreshing!
