Six christmas themed novella length stories by some of romance's best and brightest. But like most compilations for me, the shorter format leads to less meaty stories and more shallow characterization which tends to make it easier to put down the book for long periods of time. That may be why it took me well into the new year to finish this.
Overall, the stories were heartwarming, very sexy and a lot of fun. Susan Donovan's "Turning Up the Heat" was highly imaginative and original, though her switcheroo ending annoyed me. Best of the bunch was Alison Kent's "A Blue Christmas" reuniting childhood sweethearts after broken hearts and many years separate them.
Good stories, warm and hearty, just like you'd look for to celebrate the holidays. Nothing overly exciting, but enjoyable.
