Killer Takes All

This was a great book.  I really liked it.  Spindler managed to do something that only one other book has ever done.  I thought I knew what was going on near the beginning and then she convinced me I was wrong.  And then two hundred pages later it turned out I was right after all.  I love when people jerk me around like that in a book, LOL.  It's hard to do though.

I liked both Spencer and Stacy although I did feel slightly like I never really got to know them.  I felt like Stacy's issues with men were never fully explained and Spencer's motivations sometimes didn't make sense to me.  But overall they were excellent characters I had no trouble rooting for.

If this excellent book has one downfall its an almost unbelievable level of conspiracy.  There's about a half a dozen plots going on here, all intertwined.  It seemed almost impossible to me.  But I'm willing to suspend disbelief for a book I enjoyed this much.

You know, I agree. She does

You know, I agree. She does have a gift for keeping us guessing.

I also find it's hard for authors to fool me, and I am often disappointed when I know way too early who the Villain is.
