The King's Convenient Bride by Michelle Celmer, Desire, #1876, June 2008 (series: book 1- Royal Seductions)
Prince Phillip Lindall Augutus Mead (Phillip) knows his duty entailed that someday he would enter into a loveless arrangement with a suitable bride and produce an heir. He didn't like the idea but he would do his duty. When he unexpectedly became king, a wedding was scheduled. For eight years Hannah Renault has waited to enter into marriage with a prince. Now she will marry a king and in two weeks instead of the six months that allowed them to get to know one another. But can he keep his alluring bride at arms length? Will she allow it?
Phillip's didn't recieve love from his parent's growing up, so he didn't feel he warranted love and didn't think he was capable of giving it. At times he needed to have it drilled into his head; luckily he had a sister who had no qualms about telling him he was an idiot I think Hannah went into the marriage with rose coloured glasses, believing that this marriage could work. I don't think this was a bad thing because she showed great determination showing Phillip he was worthy. I liked her. She was down to earth and pleasant. She didn't seem cold-hearted as the previous queen. I am now part through Phillip's half brother's story and am really enjoying it, but now I find out I have to wait till October to read the sister's story
(the one who calls her brother an idiot
) she should have a fun story.

I was so tempted to order these now ...
seeing as the two books came out in the same month ... but then I read her Dear Reader letter mentioning the sister and I couldn't find out when that one was going to be released ... so I took the first two out of my cart ...
sounds like this is a great series ... hmmm, maybe it'll be an eBundle when the final one comes out .... then I can get it on a deal ... or the first two will be in the Bargain Bin ... I have to keep reminding myself "no new series!" LOL
