Melody is an accident waiting to happen. She lives in Salem, Massachusetts (The Witch City). She wears vintage clothing. And she wants a job as the host of a cooking show. But she is neither Martha Stewart nor Rachel Ray when it comes to creating culinary delights.
Logan, a single father, is her new neighbor. He is also an executive at the local television station.
Melody has a way with Logan's child and uses that to blackmail her way into the show of her dreams.
But how can a girl who can't cook teach cooking on television? With her magick wand, of course.
Now I must let you in on a little secret, her magick wand works as well as her recipes.
This book is a pure comedic delight.
If you don't like "paranormal" books, you still MUST read this one. It is a comtemporary romance with a heroine who is not quite the "norm".
If you do like "paranormal" you will love this book, even though there is not a vampire or werewolf in sight.
The one thing you absolutely must do before you sit down to read this book is go to the bathroom. Trust me on this one. Once you pick the book up you won't want to put it down, and once you start laughing . . . I'm just going to leave the rest up to your imagination.
