Lady of Light and Shadows is Book 2 of the Tairen Soul series.
Once again we are treated to Ellysetta Baristani and Rain Tairen Soul. This is not a stand alone book, it is actually a continuation of Book 1 and should be bought and read immediately upon completion of Book 1.
It is apparent they should have been one book. I resent having to buy two books instead of one, but the story is worth it.
Attention publishers: If children will buy and read Harry Potter, no matter how big the book is, give the adult book buyers a break and realize we would have bought this book, if it had been one book, no matter how many pages it is. Is this a case of double dipping? Making us buy two books instead of one?
