Laird of the Mist

Kate is the heroine and she is worried about her uncle coming to take her away from her family's holding.  Raiders attack but the her, Callum, is not responsible for them even though he is an enemy of her family.  Callum is there to avenge his family but sees Kate ride into the raiders and he saves her and then takes her so he can use her as a hostage.  Kate is young and impetuous but realizes that Callum is not the monster her family claims.
