This is book 2 in the Blood Runner series. Jeremy is a half-breed. His job as a Blood Runner is to hunt rogue werewolf and eventually earn his way into the Pack after he has made the required count. Jeremy made that number long ago but he has no interest in officially joining the Pack. But he has no choice when the Runners discover that the rogue werewolfs have high connections in the Pack. The only way to investigate is to have someone on the inside. So, Jeremy returns to the Pack to take his place and to claim his mate. Jillian is the Packs Spirit Walker. She comes from a family of witches who have served the Pack as healer and spirtual leader. Jillian is not happy to learn that Jeremy is finally joining the Pack. There has been too much tension between them and she is not sure she can trust him with her heart. But Jeremy is not going to let her get away again. This was a yummy read. I loved it and I'm really looking forward to book 3.

... is next in line right after I finish the series that I'm presently working on! I've heard nothing but wonderful things about it ~ and I LOVED the first book ~ and with the third out next month... well, the sooner the better.

Cady, I hope you give it a try. Book 1 has a really cute scene when the H meets the h. Pretty funny. Book 2 is a reunion story and I love those so I think I liked book 2 more because of that. Kathy beat me to it. The first book is Last Wolf Standing. I like that these three books are coming out back to back

Rhyannon is a terrific writer -- I very much enjoyed both Books 1 & 2, and highly recommend this series.
Will be watching my local bookstore for Book 3 to appear on the Silhouette rack!
