Learning the Ropes

I'm slowly getting the hang of things around the Harlequin site. So much to view, so little time... The forums are very nifty and I've made friends, even though I was not savvy enough to realize they'd pinged me, offering to be my friend. Not good.
Anyhoo, I'm still trying to figure out which book series would be best for me to target since I'm not sure about which fits my writing tendancies. I am sure wandering about the site and reading will help me with this dilema.
I am also impatiently waiting for posting day in the Writer Challenge forum so I can submit my piece for review. I did not realize how quickly 1000 words can accumulate!
I think my next step is to have someone critique the contest submissions I've written, along with some other short pieces. Perhaps they may be able to help educate me as to what Harlequin book series I am best suited to write.
