Kay is filming in Wisconsin when her male lead leaves her stranded and a local Rob Dalton is found as a stand-in on condition that Kay stays in Wisconsin to promote the new craft center. From "rehearsal" Kay knows Rob is a good kisser, but he's about to become a whistleblower and she has issues with her grandmother who did the same to Kay's father, so can they have a future together with such big issues between them?
This had several possible cringe moments that had me wincing in anticipation but everything turned out well (better than I'd expected) in the end
