Lisa - Sisters (Book 2) - by Ellen James 1997

LisaThis book is very emotional compared to Book 1. Lisa Hardaway, the youngest sister, can't seem to carry on a conversation with her mother except on a ‘social chatter' level. No wonder her mother never found out the secret Lisa's been hiding for 15 yrs. But it makes you realize why Lisa is so in tune with the kids that cross the threshold of her home for pregnant teenagers.

Eighteen yr old Matt Connell was a summer visitor. After a fling with innocent 16 yr old Lisa, he moved on to another girlfriend. But now he's back and he's acting like a zombie. There's no other word for his actions. He doesn't want to think about the past or the future. When he runs into Lisa again, he starts to unthaw. What will he do when Lisa confesses what he lost out on back then?

As I said in the review for Book 1 - Amy, this is a stand-alone book that has sub-plots running through that won't be resolved until Book 3 - Megan.

The Sisters Trilogy consists of:

#1 - Amy by Peg Sutherland

#2 - Lisa by Ellen James

#3 - Megan by Marisa Carroll

I've read an Ellen James novel before in the Big Sky Country series I reviewed earlier but that was written 10 yrs prior to this. So that means it was written in the last century. Does that count for my ‘New to You' challenge I wonder?

Heat level: Sensual
